The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organises a guided tour of the Luxembourg Council of State (5 Rue Sigefroi, 2536 Ville-Haute, Luxembourg), which will take place on Thursday, 26 November 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The President of the Council of State, Marc Thewes, will guide the visit and provide a detailed explanation of the institution’s functions, how it operates, and who its members are.

The Luxembourg Council of State is an advisory body to the Executive that advises the Government of the Grand Duchy and the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies. It issues opinions on draft and proposed legislation, as well as on their compliance with the national Constitution. It also has important regulatory and administrative responsibilities.

Generally, the Council of State building is closed to the public. On this occasion, it will exceptionally open its doors to Chamber members for this guided tour.

The visit will be conducted in English. Places are limited.
