On 23 May, the choir of the Escolania de Montserrat gave a concert in the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg, thanks to the Spanish Embassy in Luxembourg, with the collaboration of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg.

With an almost millenary history, the Escolania de Montserrat is one of the oldest and most prestigious children’s choirs in Europe, to the point of having recently been named one of the 10 best choirs in the world by the BBC Classical Music Review.

In recent years, the Escolania has made numerous concert tours all over the world. The choir is made up of 50 children aged between 9 and 14.

After the performance in the cathedral, the young artists took part in a cocktail at the Spanish Embassy in Luxembourg together with institutional representatives of the Embassy and representatives of the companies sponsoring the event.
