Next 23^rd of April at 17:30, at the premises of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg (Rue Belliard 20, 1 – 1040 Brussels), there will be an information session in Spanish on the various public aids available for entrepreneurs in the region, in collaboration with the information service for entrepreneurs 1819 in Brussels.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the 1819 regional service through Grazia Profeta, Entrepreneurship Advisor at 1819, the administrative procedures necessary for entrepreneurship and the existing support structures in the Brussels-Capital Region, highlighting the public aid available.

At the same time, Noelia Sánchez, Project Manager of the Chamber, will present the Chamber’s entrepreneurship support programmes. On the one hand, EmprendeBeLux, whose objective is to support Spaniards in BeLux in their entrepreneurial journey and to offer them support in the consolidation of their businesses. On the other hand, the European programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE), a transnational exchange programme that offers collaborations between entrepreneurs from all over Europe, for which the Chamber is the local contact point for Belgian and Luxembourgish entrepreneurs since 2015.

After the info session, attendees will be offered a cocktail so that they can network in a relaxed atmosphere.

In the framework of the Spanish Financial Forum working group, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg launches a new session of its training entitled “Transfer Pricing for Family Office Structures“.

The training will take place on 25 April from 17:00-19:00 hours in person (Chambre des Métiers, 2 Circuit de la Foire Internationale, 1347 Luxembourg) and is aimed primarily at people who want to deepen or consolidate their knowledge of legal and tax aspects for the Luxembourg commercial company.

On May 14^th and 15^th 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organise an online training on “SEO, Content Creation and Content Marketing”, in collaboration with Philippe Schifflers, Digital Marketing Consultant and Online Instructor.

The training, designed for profiles looking to level up their content marketing knowledge, regardless of the industry or company size, will explore with the participants what content marketing is, share best practices with them and discover them how to create attractive content for our target audience. The Spanish Embassy in Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, has invited the Escolanía de Montserrat choir to perform at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg on 23 May at 18.00.

With an almost millenary history, the Escolania de Montserrat is one of the oldest and most prestigious children’s choirs in Europe, to the point of having recently been named one of the 10 best choirs in the world by the BBC Classical Music Review.

In recent years, the Escolania has made numerous concert tours all over the world. The choir is made up of 50 children aged between 9 and 14.

On June 12th, 13th and 14th 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg is organising an online training on “Strategies for non-profit organisations to participate in successful projects”, in collaboration with the member company EuroVértice, specialised in European funding and strategic planning.

During the training, professionals from non-profit organisations will have the opportunity to improve competences on how to participate and navigate through the opportunities offered by the different EU programmes. Expertise is key in other to make the right match: entities priorities and most suitable funding programmes; this is also relevant when defining practical tools to participate to successful EU projects.

Once the funding target is being set, the participants will be able to boost their organization profile with best practices and useful information on how to organize internally the work, define participation strategies and search for opportunities from the myriad of sources available.

Finally, if the matching is successful, the next step will be to provide insights on key aspects to manage potential projects with real life scenarios, regarding administrative, financial and communication aspects related to EU projects, with practical exercises. Three sessions that will promote capacity building and potential funding for the attendees and their own organizations.

On the 2^nd and 3^rd of July, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg will organise an online training on “The first 100 days: kickstarting your advocacy campaign in Brussels”, given by our EmprendeBelux member Sebastián Rodríguez Pérez, Campaign Consultant and author of the European Campaign Playbook.

The course will be split into two sessions, designed to help you get your message across in the EU taking the opportunity to launch a campaign during the first months of the new European Parliament’s mandate after the June elections.

On 20 and 21 November, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg is organising the sixth edition of the course “Public advice strategies and dialogue with European institutions”. The training will be held in Spanish, in hybrid format.

The European Union plays a key role in the establishment of the regulatory framework in which companies work. For this reason, this course offers the opportunity to acquire a global vision of the functioning and competencies of the EU institutions, as well as the various communication channels with them, in order to provide participants with the knowledge and tools that will enable them to establish effective communication with the European authorities.
