The Chamber hosts a Spanish wine tasting in Luxembourg

On June 3, 2026, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg held a tasting of Spanish wines in the Grand Duchy, in collaboration with its partner company, Vicente et Fils, a boutique specializing in wines and gourmet products.

During the tasting, the manager of Vicente et Fils, Jesús Vicente, explained to attendees not only the specific characteristics of each wine they were about to taste, but also interesting facts about their origins and anecdotes related to the wineries in Spain.

The wines tasted were Louro do Bolo Blanc 2024, Flor de Muga Blanc 2022, Baltasar Gracián Reserva Rouge 2021, Tinto Pesquera Rouge 2022, Conde de Valdemar Gran Reserva Rouge 2017, Aster El Espiro Rouge 2021, and El Regalo VS Rouge 2022, which were paired with cheeses and cured meats, also from Spain.

Finally, Vicente offered attendees the chance to taste a wine over 20 years old.

The Chamber holds a blind tasting of craft beers in Brussels

On 27 May, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, together with its partner company Toque Ibérico, held a blind tasting of five Belgian craft beers from the Gansbeek brand.

Attendees were able to sample beers of the Light Blonde, Blonde, Brune, Triple and Triple Bourbon Barrel Aged varieties. Before finding out which beer was which, as the labels were concealed, participants had to comment on various characteristics such as flavour, colour and alcohol content.

Through this initiative, the Chamber encouraged networking and also fostered the creation of business opportunities among attendees. The tasting was led by Luis Ametller, co-founder of Gansbeek Brewing Co and master brewer, and the beers were paired with a selection of Spanish cheeses and cured meats.

The Chamber organises its traditional Spanish wine tasting in Luxembourg

The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organised last Wednesday 21 May its typical exclusive tasting of Spanish wines, accompanied by cheeses, Serrano ham and typical Spanish sausages.

The tasting was conducted by Jesús Vicente, Manager of Vicente & Fils, a boutique specialised in wines and gourmet products. During the tasting, seven wines were presented (five red wine and two white wine) and the attendees were able to enjoy selected gourmet appetizers.

On Thursday, June 6^th, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organised a Spanish wine tasting in collaboration with Jesús Vicente, Manager of Vicente & Fils. During the tasting, an explanations of 5 wines was be offered, accompanied by spanish embutido and cheese.

The tasting took place on-site at its premises.

Spanish wine tasting in Luxembourg

Last Wednesday 24th May, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organised a tasting of Spanish wines together with the partner company Vicente & Fils, a boutique of Spanish wines and delicatessen products.

During the tasting, Jesús Vicente, Manager of Vicente & Fils, presented the wines, detailing the denominations of origin to which each wine belonged and explaining the characteristics of each one through a technical analysis.
The six excellent wines that the attendees had the opportunity to taste were accompanied by Spanish embutido and cheese that enhanced the taste of the different wines.

Jesús Vicente offered an interesting explanation with great skill in several languages, allowing novices and experts to broaden their knowledge and taste for Spanish wine.

Last Thursday, April 7, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organised a wine tasting together with the member company From de Roots, wine and delicatessen importer from the Peninsula.

During the tasting, attendees received information about the three types of wine production and about the differences that exist between wines from different Spanish regions while enjoying five very varied wines: from the most traditional white and red wines, to biodynamic or natural.

Jaume Puigdefabregas and Pedro Fecha, from From de Roots, not only offered a technical analysis of the wines, but also encouraged attendees to share their opinions, interests and ideas. They adapted the presentation to the different levels of knowledge of the attendees, allowing both novices and experts to expand their knowledge and taste for Spanish wine.

Likewise, the attendees got a special pairing for the occasion: charcuterie and cheeses from the Peninsula that enhanced the taste of the different wines.

At the end of the event, attendees received a glass of wine as a souvenir.

On October 21st, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organised, together with its member company From de Roots, a tasting of Spanish wines.

During the tasting, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the wine production in La Rioja and Catalonia, and enjoy five different wines from both regions: from more traditional ones to biodynamic or natural wines.

Jaume Puigdefabregas and Pedro Fecha not only offered a technical analysis of the wines, but also encouraged the audience to share their opinions, ideas and tastes. They were able to adapt the presentation to the different levels of knowledge of the attendees, allowing both beginners and experts to broaden their knowledge and taste for Spanish wine.

Additionally, the attendees were offered a special food paring for the tasting: high quality Spanish ham, pork loin, cheese, or olives that enhanced the taste of the different wines.

Finally, the participants received a glass of cava as a gift from the organisers, and a glass of wine as a souvenir of their participation.
