The Chamber is a local contact point in Belgium and Luxembourg for the management of applications for the European Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme.

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other participating countries.

The exchange of experience takes place during a stay with the experienced entrepreneur, which helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm. The hosts benefit from a new perspective on their business and they acquire the opportunity of cooperating with foreign partners or getting to know new markets.

The stay is partially subsidized by the European Union. Whether you just finished creating your own company or you have a lot of experience, the programme can offer a great added value to your business: this could offer you, among other things, the exchange of knowledge and experience or the opportunity to establish a contact network in Europe and new trade relations, as well as access to foreign markets.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

New entrepreneurs

New entrepreneurs that are seriously planning to create their own business or who have done so the past three years.

Host entrepreneurs

Experienced entrepreneurs (more than three years of experience) who own or manage (as a partner) a small or medium-sized company in the participating countries
