The Chamber and Planinlux review the key steps and most common mistakes when starting a business in Luxembourg
The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with its member company Planinlux, held on Wednesday 9 September the conference “Entrepreneurship in Luxembourg: key considerations, common mistakes and practical advice”, at the Chambre de Métiers in Luxembourg (2 Circuit de la Foire Internationale).
The session was aimed at anyone considering starting a business in the Grand Duchy, as well as at entrepreneurs and professionals wishing to understand, in practical terms, what needs to be taken into account to set up and grow a business in the country.
Maria Catalán, founder and Managing Director of Planinlux, shared ten pieces of advice for future entrepreneurs, drawn from her experience supporting entrepreneurs and companies in Luxembourg. With a firmly practical approach, the conference drew on specific recommendations and real cases to help attendees avoid common mistakes and make better decisions from the outset of their project. The session highlighted the importance of sound preparation, starting with the business plan, and of understanding the particular features of the Luxembourg business environment before starting an activity, especially in the early stages.
The Chamber also presented its entrepreneurship support programmes: EmprendeBeLux and the European Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. The conference closed with a question and answer round and a networking cocktail that allowed attendees to continue the conversation with the speaker. The Chamber thanks Planinlux for its collaboration in organising this conference.
