On 15 October, the Spanish Embassy in Belgium celebrated, with the co-sponsorship of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, the Spanish National Day in Brussels.

The event, which took place in the Royal Museums of Art and History, in the Cinquantenaire Park, was attended by Spanish and local authorities, businessmen and Spanish representatives of the European institutions, as well as numerous members of the Chamber. Among the attendees, the presence of María Chivite, President of the Government of Navarra, was particularly noteworthy.

The Ambassador of Spain in Belgium, H.E. Mr. Alberto Antón Cortés, thanked during his speech the attendees, as well as the sponsors of the event and the Chamber, for having made the event possible. He also called on the Spanish community in Belgium to form a network of contacts and support abroad, since ‘unity makes us stronger’.
