From February to August 2025, freelance Spanish teacher based in Luxembourg Sora Minotta Valencia and translator-interpreter Bea Teresa Pastallé Mas based in Germany, founder of CLUB SOLETE in Berlin, took part in a six-month collaboration under the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. Their exchange demonstrates how international partnerships can spark innovation, strengthen business foundations, and inspire new pedagogical approaches.

Sora, who blends Spanish language teaching with cultural insights and active learning methodologies, joined the programme seeking confidence, inspiration, and practical tools to further develop her ideas. She was particularly interested in exploring creative pedagogical games and methods used in children’s language learning, and how these could be adapted for adult education.

On the other side of the exchange, Bea participated as an experienced Host Entrepreneur. She supports bilingual families through her translation and interpreting work and leads CLUB SOLETE, an initiative dedicated to multilingual children. Through Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, Bea aimed to continue expanding her business while opening the door to fresh perspectives and collaborative creativity.

During their collaboration in Berlin, both entrepreneurs worked intensively on marketing and communication strategies. This included designing social media templates, writing content, optimizing CLUB SOLETE’s website, and editing video materials. Sora also conducted targeted research on financial programmes relevant to multilingual education, offering valuable strategic insights into Bea’s long-term planning.

A significant part of their exchange focused on pedagogy. Together, they defined detailed learning objectives, co-designed class concepts, and experimented with creative teaching methodologies. Sora gained hands-on experience by teaching Spanish classes and co-developing materials for bilingual language acquisition, skills that strengthened her professional direction and confidence.

Beyond teaching, Sora supported administrative tasks such as client management and activity planning, gaining a full picture of the daily operations of Bea’s business. Throughout their cooperation, both entrepreneurs learned from each other’s strengths, improving communication, organizational skills, active listening, and intercultural awareness. For Sora as a New Entrepreneur, the experience provided crucial vocational clarity. For Bea, the exchange became both personally enriching and professionally motivating.
