The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg is organising a breakfast debate on Monday 22 June, between 9 am and 10 am, on ‘The Atlantic Corridor: a critical integration project for Europe’s competitiveness, internal market and strategic autonomy’. The speaker will be José Antonio Sebastián, Spanish Government Commissioner for the Atlantic Corridor.
The Atlantic Corridor is one of the nine major priority transport corridors included in the European Union’s Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). It is a multimodal infrastructure that integrates railways, roads, ports, airports, intermodal freight terminals and actions in urban nodes (cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants).
It connects Portugal, Spain, France, Germany and Ireland with the rest of the European Union, forming a single integrated, interoperable and multimodal transport network. The aim is to develop infrastructure with identical quality standards in all Member States.
The event will take place at the Chamber’s offices (Avenue des Arts 1-2, 9th floor, 1210 Brussels, Belgium) and will be held in English. Limited places available.

The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Luxembourg, is celebrating the Day of Spain on 25th and 26th June with two exclusive events designed to promote Spanish culture and cuisine in the Grand Duchy and to strengthen ties between the two countries.
The celebrations will begin on the afternoon of Thursday 25 June at 7.00 pm at the Philharmonie with a unique concert by one of the most acclaimed musicians of his generation, the pianist Juan Pérez Floristán. Winner of the Paloma O’Shea International Piano Competition (2015) and the Arthur Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv (2021), Floristán combines a refined technique with great artistic sensitivity. This will be followed by a networking cocktail reception at the Hotel Meliá Luxembourg, where Spanish cuisine will be showcased.
The following day, Friday 26 June, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm, Chef Áxel Smyth of the Michelin-starred Simpar restaurant will treat guests to an exclusive gala dinner at the INNSiDE by Meliá Luxembourg Hotel (12 Rue Henri M. Schnadt, 2530), featuring a tasting menu created especially for the occasion. Chef Áxel Smyth’s cuisine has a strong Galician influence, centred on respect for local and market produce, which led him to earn a Michelin star in 2025 and a Repsol Guide Sun in 2024. The desserts will also be created by chef Claudia Merchán, recognised as one of Spain’s finest pastry chefs, trained at the Basque Culinary Centre in San Sebastián and a guest chef on MasterChef Ecuador. The menu will be available shortly.
Tickets are available for either individual day or a combined pass to enjoy both events. You can register and purchase your ticket via the link below.

On 30th June and 1st July, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg will organise a training session on “Public speaking and networking: How to understand and connect with your audience”, in collaboration with Masha Tarle, Communications Skills Trainer and Communication Expert.
This is a highly practical, interactive course designed for young professionals working in policy, NGOs, and public affairs in Brussels. Over two focused half-days, participants learn how to speak with clarity and confidence, navigate networking situations with ease, and communicate persuasively in complex or high-stakes environments.
Through short presentations, real-time feedback, and hands-on exercises, the course helps you build presence, credibility, and meaningful professional connections — whether you’re speaking in a meeting, at an event, or introducing yourself to the right people.
The event will take place in English and will be held in person at the Chamber’s new offices (Avenue des Arts, 1-2, 9th – 1210 Brussels).
You can check the full programme of the course here.
