The Chamber’s ordinary General Assembly will be held on 12th June. It will take place at 18:30 at the Cervantes Institute in Brussels (Avenue Louise 140, 1050 Brussels). The General Assembly is the statutory framework that enables members to participate, personally, in the life of our entity.
The presentation of candidatures, whether renewals or new appointments, for members of the Board of Directors, must be notified to the Secretary General of the Chamber in writing signed before 29 May (secretariogeneral@e-camara.com) and must comply with the conditions set out in article 22 of the statutes of the Chamber.
It is hereby stated that, as from the publication of this notice of meeting, the members are entitled to consult and obtain at the registered office of the Chamber the documents subject to deliberation at this meeting and in particular, the Annual Accounts and Management Report for the financial year 2022; the certifications of the Annual Accounts issued by the Auditor and the strategic plan 2023-2026 of the Chamber.
The General Assembly may be attended by members who are up to date with their membership fees five days prior to the General Assembly and who are registered on the official list of members. Members who are unable to attend the General Assembly may be represented by another member present. To do so, the member must send by e-mail to the attention of the Secretary General, a signed power of attorney, in which he/she grants his/her representation to another member, at least two working days before the date of the Assembly.

On 13th June and 14th June, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg will organise an online training on “Communication for European projects”, in collaboration with its member company Vision Communication Consultancy.
This webinar hosted by the trainer Ramón Vila, Director of Vision Communication, is focused on providing branding, public affairs, marketing, communication or community engagement professionals with the keys to execute and evaluate a comprehensive and effective communication campaign for their agencies, organisations, programmes and European projects.
During the first session, a presentation of EU communication will be given with an explanation of the different EU projects currently in existence. The reality of consortia in European projects and the need to adapt the project communication and dissemination strategy to different contexts will be explored.
The second session will focus on project communication, exploring the management of social networks, the different communication products, and the need for proper event management.
Throughout both sessions, participants will have the opportunity to learn about examples of good and bad practices of communication in different European projects and how to effectively design and manage a communication strategy in different projects granted by the EU.

In the framework of the Spanish Financial Forum working group, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg launches its fourth training offering an introduction to international taxation with a special focus on the Luxembourg alternative investment funds structuring. The Training will take place on 13th June, in-person format and it is mainly addressed to everyone interested in improving their employability by learning and consolidating their knowledge in legal and taxing aspects related to alternative investment funds structuring.
The topics to be covered in this training will be:
- Introduction to International Taxation
- The Double Tax Problem
- EU Directives & Double Tax Treaties
- EU Anti-Avoidance Rules
- Luxembourg Investment Vehicles & Fund Structuring
- Case Study
This session will be taught by Eduardo Trancho, Partner in Van Campen Liem and Diego González, Associate in Van Campen Liem
It will be held on 13th June from 17:00-19:00 h in English, in-person format (Chambre des Métiers, 2 Circuit de la Foire Internationale, 1347 Luxembourg).
The registration fees for the next training are as follow:
