The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Elcano Royal Institute and Fundación Carlos de Amberes, organizes an in-person conference entitled “Spain-Belgium: Business, Investment and Learning opportunities” on Thursday, March 19^th, 2026, from 16:30 to 18:30, in Antwerp.

Pablo López-Álvarez, president of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, will open the event by offering an explanation of why a study on mutual perceptions and images between Spain and Belgium was important at this time.

During this event, Fernando Gijón, co-author of the study and researcher at the Elcano Royal Institute, together with a representative from Fundación Carlos de Amberes, will present the positive results of the study carried out in 2025, aimed at identifying perceptions and mutual images between Spain and the Benelux countries.

Later, Emiel Neyrinck, International Business Advisor at UNIZO, the largest non-profit organization for independent entrepreneurs and SMEs in Flanders, will present a successful case of a commercial exchange between a Belgian company and Spain.

The conferences will be followed by a round-table, where Marleen de Vijt, founder of Azull Real Estate, Andrea Oriol, country manager at EF Belgium, among others, will discuss business, learning and investment opportunities for Belgians in Spain. The round table will be moderated by Patricia Santos, director of the CEU Educational Group.

The event will conclude with a networking cocktail, offering all attendees the opportunity to exchange contacts and ideas with the speakers and other participants.

The event will be held in English in the NH Collection Antwerp Centre (Pelikaanstraat 84, 2018, Antwerp, Belgium).

Next Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with its partner EuroPadel, will hold the second edition of the Chamber’s Padel Tournament in Luxembourg, aiming to promote professional networking through sports within its contact network.

The event will take place at the indoor padel courts of Sport4Lux (34, Rue Gabriel Lippmann – 5365, Luxembourg), starting at 9:00 a.m.

The tournament, for advanced-level players, will begin with a group stage format, ensuring that each team plays a minimum of three matches. This will be followed by the semifinals and the final.

After the tournament, a networking lunch with appetizers and drinks will be offered, during which the awards ceremony will take place. In addition, each participant will have the chance to win a basket of Spanish products in a raffle.

Following the success of the previous edition, this event will be a great opportunity to enjoy sports in a friendly atmosphere and strengthen the professional network among members.
