The Chamber participates in the 36th EYE Networking Meeting in Marseille
On 10 and 11 March 2026, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg took part in the 36th edition of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) Network Meeting, held in Marseille, France. This traditional gathering brought together intermediary organisations (IOs), programme stakeholders and ecosystem actors from across Europe to reflect on the programme’s progress, exchange best practices and define future strategic directions.
The two-day event, hosted at emblematic venues such as the MUCEM and La Friche Belle de Mai in Marseille, provided a dynamic platform to strengthen collaboration within the EYE network. The programme combined plenary sessions, thematic forums and interactive formats, fostering both strategic dialogue and operational coordination among the participating organisations.
Strengthening the European entrepreneurial ecosystem

Key sessions included updates on the latest developments of the EYE programme, discussions on synergies between initiatives, and dedicated forums for Intermediary Organisations. Particular emphasis was placed on scaling the programme’s impact, notably through the ambitious target of reaching 15,000 exchanges, alongside improved promotion and outreach strategies.
Beyond formal sessions, the meeting facilitated meaningful networking moments, including thematic discussions and informal exchanges during the networking dinner. These interactions are essential to strengthening trust and coordination within the EYE ecosystem and to fostering future partnerships.
On the second day, participants explored the local entrepreneurial ecosystem in Marseille through dedicated sessions and study visits, gaining insights into regional innovation dynamics and support structures.
Looking ahead
The Chamber remains firmly committed to contributing to the ongoing improvement and expansion of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. Participation in this network meeting reinforces the Chamber’s role as a proactive and committed player within the European business landscape.
