On the 28th and 29th of November, the Chamber participated in the 31st Networking Meeting of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme in Brussels.
During the 2-days event, the intermediary organizations, the support office of the programme and the European Commission had the opportunity to discuss about the impact of this initiative and its latest developments.
The session opened with the intervention of representatives of DG GROW (Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs) and EISMEA (European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency) from the European Commission.
The new cycle created within EYE to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs was presented and special workshops were organized to share best practices on how to find synergies with other networks and how to promote the 15th anniversary of the programme taking place in 2024.
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is an exchange programme where aspiring entrepreneurs (New Entrepreneurs) can test their business idea by collaborating in person with an experienced entrepreneur (Host Entrepreneurs) from another European country, for a period of 1 to 6 months and with the financial support of the programme.
