On September 25th, from 9.30 to 11.00 a.m., the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with its member IE University, is pleased to invite you to an executive breakfast where our speaker, María Valenzuela, will lead a session on “Soft Power in the Hands of AI: A Dystopian Story Wrapped in an Attractive Consumer Proposal”.

The masterclass will treat the topic of how the entertainment industry would transform if AI had no regulations.

She will speak about how content creation (movies, series, podcasts, or news) would radically change, and what impact it would have on our culture and the economic models of media.

How the resulting media could attract big audiences and why will be discussed and analysed.

The session will be held in English.

Maria Valenzuela is an expert in media business, international co-productions and content distribution with more than 20 years of experience at senior level. María has held key positions in the industry, such as Senior Vice President at Sony Pictures Iberia, General Manager of Movistar Plus+ International and Global Head of Video Strategy at Huawei Technologies. She has worked with partners such as Netflix, Amazon, Disney, HBO, France Television and ZDF.
