Onsite conference in Luxembourg "Unlocking and Securing Profitability: Presentation of the KPMG–ABBL Private Banking Report 2025"

Next Thursday, 22 January, from 17:30 to 19:00, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with member company KPMG Luxembourg, is organising the in-person conference in Luxembourg: “Unlocking and Securing Profitability: Presentation of the KPMG–ABBL Private Banking Report 2025.”

The conference will take place at the KPMG Luxembourg offices (39 Av. John F. Kennedy, 1855 Kirchberg, Luxembourg).

How is the private banking sector adapting to secure future profitability? The 2025 edition of the KPMG–ABBL Private Banking Report provides essential insight into the forces currently reshaping the industry.

The sector has recorded historic growth in assets under management (AuM), while simultaneously facing an increase in cost-to-income ratios driven by rising staff and IT expenses. This dual reality is accelerating the market’s strategic transformation: a stronger focus on ultra-wealthy clients and ongoing consolidation have already become standard practice.

During this conference, Giovanna Giardina, Advisory Partner in KPMG’s Risk Consulting Department, and Thor-Hagen Scheller, Director in KPMG’s Risk Consulting Department, will present the main findings of the report, which examines this strategic transformation, outlines shifts in investment preferences, and provides a direct assessment of how Luxembourg’s model compares with the Swiss market.
