20/10 On-site conference on ‘AI at work: Opportunities, risks and legal compliance’
Next Monday, 20 October, from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m., the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg will host the conference ‘AI at work: Opportunities, risks and legal compliance’, in collaboration with its member company, Derecho360.
This talk will address the opportunities, risks and legal obligations involved in using AI tools in companies and in everyday work.
The presentation is aimed at companies that use AI as a work tool (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, internal developments) and as an HR tool (talent assessment, staff performance, etc.).
The speakers will be Laura Van Gompel, a lawyer specialising in Mexican and Belgian law, with expertise in data protection and contracts, and Yirley Gonzales, a lawyer specialising in Peruvian law, with expertise in copyright and trademark protection.
The event will take place in Spanish at the Chamber’s premises (Av. des Arts 1, 9º, 1210, Brussels).
