On 5 February, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with CMS Luxembourg, Ebury Spain and TMF Group, organised a conference entitled ‘Latam-Iberia-Luxembourg Investment Bridge: Strategies, Innovation and Security’.

The conference addressed the growing economic interconnection between Latam, Iberia and Luxembourg, highlighting the increasing investments of high net worth individuals from Latam into the Iberian region, especially in luxury real estate and private banking.

Operational challenges such as international payments and the complexity of laws between regions were also addressed, as well as the solutions offered by common investment vehicles in Luxembourg, such as alternative funds and holding companies.

Finally, the advantages of Luxembourg as a strategic financial centre for structuring wealth and channelling investment were explored.

After the Q&A, a networking cocktail was held for all attendees.
