On September 19, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organized a conference in Brussels entitled “Changes that may affect your HR management” in collaboration with its member company SD Worx.

During the event, nearly thirty professionals from the Human Resources department in Belgium were informed about recent changes that may affect employee management within associations and companies. The speakers, Valérie t’Serstevens, Manager National & International Employment, and Sabine Umuhire, Reward Consultant at SD Worx, first outlined the biggest challenges currently facing HR when it comes to finding and retaining talent, and what aspects employees value most today.

During the conference, Valérie and Sabine also explained to the attendees what documentation is necessary to properly manage an employee’s teleworking in a foreign country and provided detailed information on the options and advantages of the Federal Mobility Budget. The speakers also discussed how the new artificial intelligence law affects companies and what obligations they need to consider.
