Last Wednesday 29 November, the conference “Housing Today” took place in collaboration with DLINEA Architecture & Design, member of the Chamber, and the Spanish Cultural Circle Antonio Machado. The conference was held at the Spanish Centre.

The speaker, José Serrano, who has more than 12 years of experience in the Luxembourg construction industry, is the director of the DLINEA Architecture & Design studio, which specialises in the creation of homes.

One of his motivations is to push the boundaries of the country’s architecture and improve people’s lives through a good approach to their needs. His special way of designing and creating spaces adapted to all types of clients and budgets, has led him to achieve surprising results in his projects.

During the session, José Serrano tried to solve doubts about the construction of houses in Luxembourg and the convenience of renovations and building new houses in the country. He gave advice on how to avoid problems with builders, how to get help to obtain the energy certificate or with the procedures with the administrations, etc.

He also explained methods to reduce costs when furnishing and fitting out a home in Luxembourg, the viability of prefabricated houses and other questions about the Luxembourg property market.
