On 23^rd and 24^th January, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg will organise an onsite training on “AI to improve business productivity”, in collaboration with Communication Package.

This training will allow senior executives, SME owners, department heads and, in general, decision makers in their organisations, to optimise their internal processes through generative Artificial Intelligence, with the aim of improving productivity, reducing costs and increasing business profits.

AI is proving to be a transformative tool that is changing the way organisations operate, trivialising repetitive tasks and rendering many of the traditional ways of operating obsolete. Through this training, participants will gain a better understanding of how to adapt to these new times and to embrace the use of this innovative technology early on, to avoid being left behind.

The next 31st of January, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg will organize in their headquarters in Brussels an Info Day about the Young Talent Mobility Programme, previously known as the PICE Mobility Plan.

The Chamber continues to be the local point of contact at BeLux for the management of this Plan, whose call for applications for 2025 will be launched soon.

The Mobility Plan is a program created by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce’s Network and co-financed by the European Social Found which is framed in the Spanish National System of Youth Guarantee and offers both personal and professional development opportunities through internships or employment contracts in companies from the European Union.

On February 12^th and 13^th 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organise an online training on “SEO, Content Creation and Content Marketing”, in collaboration with Philippe Schifflers, Digital Marketing Consultant and Online Instructor.

The training, designed for profiles looking to level up their content marketing knowledge, regardless of the industry or company size, will explore with the participants what content marketing is, share best practices with them and discover them how to create attractive content for our target audience. The course will also explore how to craft optimized content for search engine optimization, evaluate the most widely used formats and channels and learnt what they needed to boost a content pipeline and how to measure results. On February 21, from 9.00 to 10.15 am, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg organizes the online matchmaking session EU Projects Talks, an initiative that seeks to connect companies interested in European projects. This virtual meeting aims to facilitate networking and collaboration between companies, SMEs and professionals from various sectors.

The event will start with a brief intervention of an expert in European projects, who will explain the main opportunities existing in the different funding programs active in 2025.

The main part of the session will consist of brief presentations by the participants and small group discussions. Attendees will be able to network and find consortium partners for projects.

On 14^th and 15^th May 2024, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg will organise an online training on “Communication for European projects”, in collaboration with its member company Vision Communication Consultancy.

This webinar hosted by the trainer Ramón Vila, Director of Vision Communication, is focused on providing branding, public affairs, marketing, communication or community engagement professionals with the keys to execute and evaluate a comprehensive and effective communication campaign for their agencies, organisations, programmes and European projects.

During the first session, a presentation of EU communication will be given with an explanation of the different EU projects currently in existence. The reality of consortia in European projects and the need to adapt the project communication and dissemination strategy to different contexts will be explored.

The second session will focus on project communication, exploring the management of social networks, the different communication products, and the need for proper event management.

Throughout both sessions, participants will have the opportunity to learn about examples of good and bad practices of communication in different European projects and how to effectively design and manage a communication strategy in different projects granted by the EU.

Next Friday, May 16, 2025, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg is organizing a guided corporate visit to the Port of Antwerp, one of the largest ports in Europe and the second largest in terms of total cargo transported.

Its central location, extensive transport connections and great infrastructure make the Port of Antwerp an excellent choice for business.

Patrick Van Cauwenberghe, Business Development Officer of the Port of Antwerp for the United Kingdom, will be in charge of welcoming the participants.

During the visit, the participants will be able to see first-hand the Port’s facilities (the spaces destined for RORO, containers, general cargo, the chemical cluster, its Next Gen projects and sustainable initiatives, its rail connections…).

After the visit, a networking lunch will be held in a restaurant.

Although the meeting point for the visit will be the Antwerp Port Authority building (Zaha Hadidplein, 1), the Chamber will provide a direct bus from Brussels. More information on schedules coming soon.
