Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme celebrates 15 years empowering and connecting entrepreneurs across borders
The Chamber celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) programme, an European Commission initiative designed to shape the future of entrepreneurship across Europe.
Through this international exchange programme, new or potential entrepreneurs gather and exchange knowledge and business ideas with an experienced entrepreneur abroad, with whom they collaborate for a period of 1 to 6 months with the financial support of the programme.
Since it started in 2009, the EYE programme is fostering international collaboration, enriching entrepreneurial skills, and driving innovation, and to date, has created nearly 12,000 business exchanges in over 45 countries.
The year 2023 marked a historic high with over 5,000 applications, demonstrating the programme’s resounding success. The 98% of new entrepreneurs recommend others to participate and 92% of entrepreneurs stay in touch after their exchange.
Aspiring entrepreneurs and experienced business owners are invited to join this thriving community and become part of the EYE success story.
The Chamber is local contact point of the programme for entrepreneurs based in Belgium and Luxembourg.
