On 10 December, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg held its 2025 Extraordinary General Assembly in Luxembourg, at the residence of the Spanish Ambassador to Luxembourg.

The meeting was attended by a large number of members and was also attended by the Honorary President, the Spanish Ambassador to Luxembourg, Her Excellency Ms Nieves Blanco, who offered a few words of thanks to the Chamber for its work in promoting business in Luxembourg, and the Economic and Commercial Counsellor, María Ortiz.

The event served to approve the Chamber’s budget for the 2026 financial year, which includes the repayment of the first half of the mortgage on the Chamber’s new headquarters in Brussels.

In addition, during the Assembly, the activities carried out in 2025 were reviewed and the activities planned in the Grand Duchy for the coming year 2026 were presented, with the aim of maintaining the upward growth trajectory that the delegation in Luxembourg has developed in recent times.
