The Chamber participated in the 35th Network Meeting of the EYE programme

05/12/2025

On the 13th and 14th of November, the Chamber participated in the 35th Networking Meeting of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme, organised in Brussels by the European Commission, EISMEA and Eurochambres.

The two-day event brought together Lead and Intermediary Organisations to discuss the programme’s latest developments, challenges and priorities. Participants engaged in plenary sessions, thematic workshops on IT-tool development, crisis mediation and strategic matchmaking, as well as consortium meetings and an IOs Forum. A dedicated matchmaking event and several networking moments offered opportunities to exchange best practices, strengthen cooperation and explore new collaboration possibilities across the EYE network.

Since 2009, EYE has supported more than 13,700 exchanges in over 40 countries, helping new and aspiring entrepreneurs learn from experienced hosts across Europe. The atmosphere of this year’s meeting reflected the community’s shared commitment to continually improving the programme and supporting Europe’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This edition also highlighted new programme synergies, including the involvement of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) start-up and scale-up advisors, who presented additional support services available to entrepreneurs. These insights provided IOs with practical tools to better guide participants, enhance cross-border collaboration and reinforce the long-term impact of the exchanges.

The Chamber continues to serve as the local contact point in Belgium and Luxembourg for:

  • New or aspiring entrepreneurs based in Belgium or Luxembourg wishing to develop their business idea abroad alongside an experienced Host Entrepreneur.
  • Experienced entrepreneurs (SMEs) in Belgium or Luxembourg interested in hosting a New Entrepreneur from another participating country.
