What is the role of Qualcomm’s Belgian branch? Does it also deal with European public affairs?

We are committed to shaping a regulatory environment that fosters innovation and investment. Our Brussels office is a pivotal point for our government affairs activities, engaging closely with European policymakers and industry stakeholders.

We anticipate regulatory trends and advocate for policies that promote cutting-edge technologies contributing to Europe’s digital leadership.

What are the priority regulations and dossiers for Qualcomm now? What regulatory issues are of most concern to you?

A foremost priority revolves around promoting open digital ecosystems that enable seamless connectivity and interoperability across devices and services. We are firm in our belief that cross-industry collaboration is paramount to expanding consumer choices and fostering innovation.
