The Chamber brings Jamón de Teruel PDO closer to Benelux importers
On September 12, an online tasting of Jamón de Teruel PDO was held, organized by the Regulatory Council and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Teruel, with the collaboration of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg.
The Chamber actively contributed to the initiative by identifying and reaching out to importers, distributors, and food industry professionals in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, ensuring the participation of key operators from the region.
Participants received in advance a tasting kit with different presentations of Jamón de Teruel PDO, along with product information and details about the marketing companies. During the session, led by experts Pedro José Pérez Casco and Miriam López Ortega (Jamón Lovers), attendees explored the ham’s organoleptic characteristics and gained strategic insights into its commercialization in European markets.
With this action, the Chamber reaffirms its commitment to supporting the internationalization of Spanish quality products and to fostering new business opportunities in the Benelux region.
