The WLead project holds its kick-off meeting in Brussels
Last 22nd February took place in Brussels the kick-off meeting of the European project WLead, an Erasmus+ project that aims to promote the acquisition and improvement of professional and personal skills and competences of entrepreneurial, employed and unemployed women seeking to boost their professional career.
During the meeting, representatives of both entities that make up the Consortium of the project, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg and the Asociación Madrid Network, laid the foundations of the project, defining the tasks to be developed in each phase.
The meeting took place in the premises of the Chamber and it was attended by the secretary general of the entity, Marta González, and the project manager Noelia Sánchez. On behalf of the Asociación Madrid Network, the project managers Paloma Lozano and Esmeralda Rodríguez, as well as the Deputy Director of Operations, Juana Ramos, and the project manager Roberto Prieto, who participated online.
Among other issues, the meeting made it possible to define the visual identity of the project, establish the monitoring criteria to guarantee its quality and schedule and divide the tasks for the next six months among the members of the Consortium.
Thus, the WLead project will develop over its 2-year duration a package of training tools for women that will be accessible through an e-learning platform to respond to the special needs most in demand by women today.
The next face-to-face meeting of the Consortium is planned for 2024.
