Next Thursday, 18th June, from 18:30 to 19:30, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with its member firm Stellan Partners, is organising an onsite conference on “GDPR and Data Protection in Practice: Key Compliance Updates and Risk Management”, followed by a networking cocktail. The event will take place in the company’s premises, in Lalux Building (9 Rue Jean Fischbach, 3372 Luxembourg).
Several years after the entry into force of the GDPR, organisations are facing a new reality: compliance alone is no longer enough.
The rapid evolution of digital technologies, in particular the increasing use of AI and automated decision-making tools, is reshaping the way personal data is collected, processed and protected. In this context, data protection has become a key element not only of legal compliance, but also of risk management, corporate governance and business reputation.
This session will offer a practical and forward-looking perspective on how organisations can address new data-related risks, including those arising from AI-driven systems, while strengthening trust and accountability.
The speakers that will conduct the event, Audrey Rustichelli, head of the New Technologies, Data & IP department, and Mar Ibáñez, Associate, both at Stellan Partners will explore recent enforcement trends, key compliance challenges and the interaction between existing GDPR obligations and emerging technologies. The conference will be followed by a networking cocktail.
The event will take in English. You can register in the following link:

The desserts will also be created by chef Claudia Merchán, recognised as one of Spain’s finest pastry chefs, trained at the Basque Culinary Centre in San Sebastián and a guest chef on MasterChef Ecuador.
