DG VET Consortium meets in Nicosia to develop trainings for a more inclusive Digital and Green Economy
Last 9th and 10th of May took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, the Transnational Consortium Meeting of the European project DG VET, an Erasmus+ initiative coordinated by the Chamber.
The aim of the meeting was to present the overview of the project performance achieved until the end of May 2023 and an opportunity for the Consortium to strategize all together on the next months ahead of the programme, specifically on PR2 and PR3 for the creation of open-source online trainings.
The meeting was a success of presence as all partners made it possible to be in Nicosia in person which made it achievable to enhance a trustworthy and the creative atmosphere amongst project colleagues, the creation of proficient links and the confirmation an atmosphere of a good connection that strengthens the quality of deliverables.
DG VET is a 24-month project which aims to develop innovative training material and methodology, together with an online learning platform to support the development of marketable digital and green skills of NEET youth from rural areas to empower their employability, especially women between 18 and 30 years old.
DG VET Partners are currently developing the specific objective 2: to Train to Agriculture 4.0 by Equipping young NEETs with basic & advanced digital and green skills.
The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg is responsible for the coordination of this initiative founded by the European Union.
We want to specially thank our colleague partner Damla, from STANDO based in Nicosia, Cyprus, who hosted the meeting in the particular and unique context of Nicosia and all consortium members from all over Europe who attended and worked as a solid team.
