On Tuesday 19 September and Thursday 21 September in Madrid and Barcelona, respectively, a Fintech conference will be held, an informative and networking event aimed at innovative Spanish companies focused on technological solutions for the financial sector.

During these conferences organised by hub.brussels, which is responsible for accompanying foreign companies wishing to set up in Brussels, in collaboration with the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, AEFI, MAD FinTech, Belgium Fintech and Madrid Network, information will be provided on the opportunities for Spanish companies in the technology sector focused on the financial industry to set up in the Brussels Region.

During the event, professionals from the sector specialised in internationalisation will be present and the tax and labour advantages existing in the Belgian region will be detailed. The Brussels ecosystem may be of interest to Spanish companies because it hosts a large number of incubators and launchers that offer mentoring, financing and access to networks of contacts, as well as being an advantageous environment because it is home to numerous regulatory bodies and the capital of the European institutions. Brussels is also home to renowned universities and research centres and offers a wide range of funding for fintech companies.

The event will take place on Tuesday 19 September at the Belgian Ambassador’s Residence (Calle Padilla 23, 28006 Madrid) between 15:30 and 18:30 and will be followed by a networking cocktail.
