Shortly describe your professional career.

I studied a Law Degree at University of Huelva and a Master’s Degree in Law at ICADE. Member of the Madrid Bar since 2002. Courses in international and European law at the Paris VII-Denis Diderot University and the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

My professional experience is mainly focused on compliance, regulatory and tax aspects, specifically of an international nature and related to the banking and insurance sector.

During my professional career, I have worked in well-known international financial entities, such as BNP Paribas and ING bank, as well as, in law firms specialized in Financial and Banking Law such as “Castro, Sueiro & Varela” which is now integrated at KPMG Spain.

Which activity does your company currently develop in Luxembourg?

The Group Octogone manages the assets of families and institutions across Europe, USA, Latin America and the Middle East.

Octogone Europe SA provides high-level personalized services and rigorous, tailor-made asset and Fund management, as well as Family Office services for all EU Market.

Octogone Europe, S.A. is mainly oriented to provide financial services to Spanish nationals and LATAM clients and institutions.

What added value does your company offer in Luxembourg compared to its competitors?

Octogone Europe SA offers personal advice and services adapted to each client needs and expectations. We help clients to identify the best opportunities throughout our network of highly qualified specialists with offices in Luxembourg, Geneva, Miami, Chile, Nassau, Panama and Cayman Island.

We analyze specific needs, setting objectives and limits in terms of risk, volatility and liquidity requirements over a time period. We work based on discretionary mandates as well as advisory mandates for those who wish to remain involved in the management of their assets.

Our goal is to preserve capital while generating the best performance possible.

How do you think the Spanish Financial Forum can add value to the financial services industry in Luxembourg and its professionals?

It helps companies by giving the possibility of sharing experiences, creating collaborations or exchanging information between them. Every company can benefit itself by creating or expanding their network of professional contacts and information.

Organized events such as webinars and meetings could be very helpful to develop activities and positioning companies into the market.
