The Chamber celebrates the 15th anniversary of EYE in Kaunas

On the 10th and 11th of April, the Chamber participated in the 32nd Networking Meeting of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme (EYE) held in Kaunas, Lithuania.

During the 2-days event, the intermediary organizations, the support office of the programme and the European Commission, had the opportunity to gather and evaluate the impact of this European initiative that celebrates 15 years in 2024.

The first day opened with the welcoming words of Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania, followed by representatives of DG GROW (Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs) and EISMEA (European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency) from the European Commission.

Keynote speeches, workshops and panel discussions were organized for participants among the two days, to wrap-up with the Innovator Award Ceremony and the birthday celebration.

More than 12.000 exchanges in over 40 countries have been built since the EYE programme started in 2009, with 97% of participants considering their experience successful.
