The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Belgian and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Spain, organised a networking cocktail in Madrid exclusively for members of both Chambers on Thursday 1 February, on the occasion of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The cocktail took place at the Residence of the Belgian Ambassador in Spain.

The event, which was a resounding success in terms of participation, brought together around one hundred professionals from the Spanish-Belgian and Luxembourgish business community in Spain, representatives of both Chambers of Commerce and other key players in the development of business in Madrid.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Belgium in Spain, Mr. Geert Cockx, who welcomed the attendees, and the Ambassador of Luxembourg in Spain, Mr. Christian Biever. In addition to the ambassadors, the President of our Chamber, Mr. Pablo López-Álvarez, intervened in the event together with his counterpart, the President of the Belgian and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Spain, Mr. Marc Mazy.
