In order to respond to the demand for professionals in the Luxembourg financial sector, the Chamber organises the second edition of the training programme ‘Introduction to the Luxembourg financial market’. This programme enables candidates to acquire the necessary skills to work in the banking sectors, the fund and insurance industry and, more generally, in the Luxembourg financial sector.

The training offers a consolidation of the fundamental principles of finance and provides both theoretical and operational knowledge, adapted to the Luxembourg context to ensure a good adaptation to the labour market. It will take place on a face-to-face basis from 1 to 12 September in Luxembourg at the Chambre des Métiers Luxembourg (2 Circuit de La Foire Internationale, 1347 Kirchberg Luxembourg), and at the end of the course a 6-month contract in a company in the financial sector will be offered.

Applications for admission should be sent to luxemburgo@e-camara.com, including a duly completed application form, CV, motivation letter, copy of the diploma with the subjects taken and the corresponding marks before 11 April at 12:00 (Brussels time).

The training is organised over two weeks, with 4 hours per day. The selection procedure allows for the selection of 20 participants, so the sessions will be interactive, offering hands-on experience with real work scenarios. The lecturers will be renowned professionals from the Luxembourg financial sector.

The training will be helded in English.

The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg is pleased to invite you next Thursday 11 September from 18:30 to 20:00 to a special afterwork, in collaboration with ARTIAPLACE, where the Belgian sculptor Viviane Brickmanne will present several of her new works.

Resident in Madrid, the artist has an extensive career in which she has explored concepts such as “Air”, “Waste” and, more recently, “Brick”, transforming this element of construction and resignifying its use.

The event will take place at the Vermutería Casa Duques, a new space in the Hotel Melía Luxembourg that was created with the aim of bringing the authentic flavours of Spain to Luxembourg, mixing tradition and innovation.

On the 17^th and 18^th of September, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg will organise an online training on “The playbook on innovative campaigning in Brussels“, given by our EmprendeBelux member Sebastián Rodríguez Pérez, Campaign Consultant and author of the European Campaign Playbook.

In this training, professionals tasked with branding, public affairs, marketing communications, or community engagement will learn to identify the core messages for their organizations, craft convincing stories and launch integrated campaigns to achieve their goals.

This is a hands-on workshop in which participants will collaborate and work towards creating a “Communications Plan” for their respective organisations by the end of the training.

Next Tuesday 15th of October from 9:00 to 10:15, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, will organise the conference “Changes that may affect your Human Resources management”, in collaboration with the Chamber’s member company SD Worx.

In this event, the speaker will inform about recent changes that may affect Human Resources management within organisations. Thus, during the conference, topics such as simultaneous working or teleworking from several EU countries.

The speakers will be Valérie t’Serstevens, legal consultant in national and international law at SD Worx, and Sabine Umuhire, legal consultant.

The event will take place in English at the premises of the Chamber (Avenue des Arts 1-2, 9º – 1210 Brussels).
