30/05 Extra virgin olive oil tasting


On the 30th of May between 18:15 and 20:15, the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg is organising an “Introductory tasting of Sotofermoso Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)”, Silver Medal at the Amsterdam International Olive Oil Competition.

During the event, the Sotofermoso oil, family-produced and biodynamically cultivated in Extremadura, will be tasted, plus three other single-varietal EVOOs of manzanilla cacereña, arbequina and verdial. Through a sensory experience, the tasting will transport attendees to Sotofermoso’s own olive grove and immerse them in the history of the oil. The EVOO will be tasted accompanied by different pairings such as gazpacho, bread, olives or vegetables.

The tasting will be given by Pilar Muñoz-Elena Flores, biologist and founder of Sotofermoso.

The tasting will be conducted in Spanish, with the possibility of translation into French, English or Italian depending on the variety of nationalities.
